SalviDuo is a young and talented Italian chamber ensemble composed by the harpist Josephine Salvi and oboist Mariachiara Arigò.
The duo was formed in 2010 while attending Professor Emanuela Degli Esposti’s class of chamber music at the Conservatoire “A. Boito ” of Parma. They were tutored by Professor Ieuan Jones at the Royal College of Music in London and have participated in numerous masterclasses with professors such as; Nora Cismondi in Assisi and Marco Perini in Lovere at the “Accademia delle belle arti” Tadini.
The Duo has performed in numerous concerts, playing at the “Auditorium del Carmine” in Parma, the “Abbey of St. Peter” in Assisi, and at the “Teatro Nuovo” in Salsomaggiore during the “International Harp Festival” playing on stage ” Song Gaélique “, the contemporary piece of the famous harpist and composer Vincenzo Zitello.
This sparkling and versatile duo is suitable for different musical environments. They presents a varied repertoire that goes from baroque music to classical music , entertainment music like Film music, Tango, Latin, Broadway, jazz, folk music and motifs of the Italian “Bel Canto”.
